Norfolk Helicopter Club - Constitution
- The club shall be called the Norfolk Helicopter Club.
- The aims of the club are to promote the sport of model helicopter flying by providing the opportunity for members to take part in the sport in a safe and nurturing environment.
- The club will be affiliated to the BMFA. All members will be required to hold BMFA membership, and agree in writing to operate within the club rules.
- The club will meet annually to elect officers, and to prove the club accounts, also to attend to any other matters affecting the club.
- The club will be administered by a committee consisting of the following officers:
- Chairman - responsible for chairing club meetings, liaison with land-owners and other bodies. Supervising other committee members, and has the casting vote at meetings.
- Secretary / Treasurer - responsible for taking minutes at meetings and to maintain the club accounts.
- Membership secretary - responsible for taking membership fees, sending out membership cards, and to pay all membership fees into the bank.
- Safety officer - responsible for all site safety and to enforce the club rules.
- Training officer - responsible for the administration of all training programmes.
- The committe may co-opt members from time-to-time to fulfil special functions.
- The committee may ask a member to leave the club at any time, no club fees will be returned to that member.
- The membership year will run from 1st January to 31st December. For those who join after 31st August there will be a reduction of club fees.
